Memories brought back

I have had a craving for this giant taffy for years, but was unable to find it. I finally found it on A Candy Store.com website, ordered it, and have been satisfied ever since. I was worried because I thought it might be too strong for my old teeth now, but it wasn't. I was able to eat it with pleasure and plan on ordering more. Thank you for bringing back one of my old favorites.

"The Store"

Out on Highway 32 West of Houlka, Mississippi, there was Dean Denton's Grocery. Dean and Uras Denton were my great aunt and uncle. I lived next door and you can just imagine I was at the store more than I was home. It was a country store with everything from candy to horseshoes. One of the candies they had was the Giant Taffy and I loved it so. I bought this for myself and ate every taffy bar by myself and no, I'm not ashamed to tell it. The store building is still there, though it's mostly empty, and Uncle Dean and Aunt Uras are gone but my memories are still there and this candy just brought that time back to me for a while.
